When bulky waste arrives at the landfill, volume reduction is required. The smaller size of the waste allows more efficient recycling. The waste is then sorted: the part with the highest added value, i.e. with the greatest possibility of being reused, is separated from the rest. The remainder is sent to waste disposal sites for incineration.
High-powered mills are installed in facilities with a high flow of material such as municipal landfills and collection centres, responsible for processing municipal solid waste, bulky waste, industrial waste and all baled and loose materials.
Model DRM475, in the hooklift or self-propelled crawler version, is equipped with intersecting blades and a central bar located at the material outfeed position.
