Food waste recycling
Food waste is a type of waste that is placed within the so-called wet fraction of MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) and is usually collected in special compostable bags.
Some examples of new uses from food waste recycling after treatment with volume reduction, shredding and sorting include: animal feed, fertilisers, electricity, bioplastics and fuels.
