There are many types of plastic disposal processes, and all aim to produce granulate, which is then recycled. Plastic granulate is used to create new plastic products. The waste becomes a new high-quality material that can be returned to productive processes. There are different types of plastics: PE (polyethylene) in bags, toys, detergent bottles, plastic wrap. PP (polypropylene) used to produce a wide variety of objects like carpet, furniture, food containers and garden furniture. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is present in windows, doors, and in egg cartons and piping. PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is used to produce beverage bottles. PS (polystyrene) is used for cutlery, dishes, glasses, food trays. Plastic is first crushed, then ground, sorted and finally pulverised.
