WEEE R4 recycling
The evolution of electronic devices and the speed with which devices become obsolete has increased the amount of material available to the metal and plastic recovery market.
WEEE group 4 identifies small electrical and electronic products. PCs, laptops, smartphones, USB sticks, credit cards, microwave ovens, washing machines are just a few examples of the products that can be recycled, from which the different materials can then be obtained.
The percentage of materials that can be recovered exceeds 90%. Metals, plastics, copper, aluminium and precious metals can be recovered from this type of waste through the recycling process. The process is the same as for WEEE: volumetric reduction and separation.
