The R.S.U. separation and shredding plant it is mainly composed of 5 machines / equipment. The waste is introduced into the loading belt with ease thanks to the buried start for 2 meters flush with the floor. The refusal is then led to the lacerator which, through its particular blades, breaks the bags and makes their contents fall onto a second belt. The shredder for municipal solid waste is equipped with a material level probe that regulates the speed of the loading belt. The material then passes over a ferrous metal separator which separates the iron-containing material from the rest of the waste. the material is then transported to the selection mezzanine from which the operators will select the material assigned to them. The selected material, and also that remaining on the belt, will fall into the respective containers previously positioned under the mezzanine.
