RDF-SSF plant
The Camec RDF/SSF plant is designed to process industrial, domestic and commercial waste in order to obtain alternative fuels: RDF (refuse-derived fuel) and SSF (secondary solid fuel).
Description
The plant designed by Camec for RDF/SSF can be customised according to the characteristics of the incoming material and the customer’s requirements: it is possible to integrate non-ferrous metal separators, a disk screen, customised conveying systems and much more.
The material can be loaded onto the belt that feeds the primary waste shredder or directly into the waste shredder, depending on availability of space. The material is reduced to a homogenous and consistent piece size, which is subsequently deferrised by means of the ferrous metal separator and from which non-shreddable bodies are removed by means of the Aeraulic Separator. The RDF/SSF plant is equipped with a dust extraction system formed during the shredding and waste separation process.
