All components of a photovoltaic panel - the various metals, aluminium frames and module frames, glass, cables and plastic - can be processed by mechanically separating them and reusing all of the parts.
This breakdown process yields ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, glass, silicon and plastic, each of which can be reused to create new products.
